Our client is seeking a VP of Tax Credit Compliance which will be based in their corporate office in Tampa, FL  This is a senior leadership role responsible overseeing the entire affordable housing compliance function for their LIHTC portfolio.  Must be experienced in Section 42 of the Internal Revenue Code. The role will develop a team of compliance managers, establish performance metrics and conduct evaluations for direct reports. Partner with Acquisitions team on new LIHTC transactions. Oversee the use of industry software platforms such as Yardi, RealPage, ResMan (or similar) for tracking, reporting and file management. Must hold an active designation Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP), Certified Credit Compliance Professional (C3P) or equivalent. Strong leadership skills, knowledge of HUD programs, excellent written and verbal skills. Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote. 20% travel expected. Base salary $180K with 20% bonus.
